Later breeding programs were launched to develop suitable hybrids for the Indian market. Objectives:
Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a sales team, driving sales growth, nurturing client relationships, strategizing sales initiatives, and ensuring adherence to organizational objectives and standards within their designated area.

Roles and responsibilities:
-Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives to achieve sales targets and market penetration in the designated area.

-Recruit, train, and manage a sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure they meet individual and collective sales goals.

-Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential areas for growth, new opportunities, customer needs, and competitor activities.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, dealers, and agricultural stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

-Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities to increase product visibility, awareness, and demand in the market.

-Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, prepare sales forecasts, and provide regular reports to higher management regarding sales achievements, challenges, and strategies.

-Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize sales and profitability in the area.

-Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

-Provide ongoing training, coaching, & skill development programs to the sales team to enhance their effectiveness and knowledge about products and market dynamics.

-Address issues, resolve conflicts, and make strategic decisions in collaboration with senior management to drive sales growth and overcome challenges.

-Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and product development to streamline operations and ensure a cohesive approach towards achieving sales targets.

-Implement measures for continuous improvement in sales processes, strategies, and customer service to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
