Location Preference:
Only candidates from Tamil Nadu and Kerala (Tamil language proficiency required to manage local labor teams).
Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience in coffee and spice cultivation practices.
- Ability to manage and supervise farm workers (full-time and seasonal).
- Good understanding of organic farming standards and certification procedures.
- Ability to prepare daily and seasonal work plans (planting, harvesting, maintenance).
- Capability to inspect crops, monitor soil and water quality, and report findings.
- Knowledge of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and farm supply management.
- Planning for equipment repairs, maintenance, and replacement.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, particularly with local labor teams.
- Basic proficiency in computer usage (record-keeping, reporting).
- High ethical standards, confidentiality, and personal integrity.
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related fields.
- Certification in Farm Management (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
- 2–4 years of practical, hands-on farm supervision experience in farms.
- Experience with farms holding organic certifications is preferred but not essential.
- Proven ability to lead and manage field operations effectively.
- Familiarity with farm compliance documentation and audits.
