About Clover Organic:
Clover was set up in the year 2008 to create a transformation in the field of organic
agriculture, and aquaculture by creating sustainable value chains. We are also working on
innovative ways to treat wastewater and carry out solid waste management. We have set up
a state-of-the-art factory in Dehradun to produce advanced organic inputs for all our
verticals.
We work with the Government, NGOs and the private sector to deliver the aforesaid
products and solutions. We are currently engaged in organic production in about 1,00,000+
acres of land and have done pilots for in-situ drain treatment and rejuvenation of lakes.

The Role
This is a mid-level role, reporting to the VP, of Government Projects. Accordingly, the purpose and key
expectations would be as follows:
Purpose:
To ensure Clover and group Companies can win Government and foreign Tenders for various
projects within our domains of interest.
The key expectations of the role:
Go through all government and foreign portals (GIZ, IFAD, IFOAM, US AID, etc.) regularly to search for tenders.
Employ and manage the services of 3rd party to doubly ensure no tenders are missed out.
Shortlist tenders, where Clover and group Companies can qualify.
Help the management to make a collective decision to accept or reject the tender – based on
logic.
Record reasons for rejection and build the organisations to the required level to ensure
minimal rejection in the future.
Create all requirements in terms of documents, financials etc beforehand needed
in the future and highlight dependencies if any.
Fill up the tender and double-check for any errors in a professional manner.
Ensure layout and graphics are of extremely high quality.
Follow up the tender to its logical conclusion
Carry out capacity building in case of rejection to ensure minimal rejection in the future.
Maintain utmost confidentiality at all times – be prepared to sign an NDA.
Competencies required: Knowledge, skills, attitude:
Essential
Knowledge
Knowledge & understanding of the tender system.
Knowledge, understanding & experience of most of the above expectations
Good track record of winning tenders.
Good experience in creating accounts with GEM and managing the same.
Skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong commercial acumen.
Ability to analyse & interpret tenders.
Ability to understand competition and steps we need to take to win
Ability to create an interim team for the tender in case of a requirement.
Attitude
Results-driven and having a strong bias for action.
Initiative and drive.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Open to travel
The Individual: (education and experience)
Essential
• A Graduate degree (B.Com Preferred)
• 4-5 years’ experience in scanning, filling and winning tenders.
•
Desirable
• Experience in agriculture, aquaculture, solid waste management and wastewater treatment
Industries.
